3. The Service

didacu is an AI-powered educational platform. You provide a topic, and our AI generates structured courses with slides, quizzes, and progress tracking. The Service is provided "as is" and course content is generated by artificial intelligence.

Course data visibility: Course content you create is not end-to-end encrypted. The didacu team may access your course data for purposes including service operation, maintenance, support, abuse prevention, and product improvement. You should not include sensitive, confidential, or personal information in your course prompts or uploaded materials beyond what is necessary for course generation.

4. Credits and Payments

Certain features require credits, which can be purchased through our payment provider (Polar). Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change credit pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

Unused credits do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Generate content that promotes violence, hate speech, or illegal activities
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit systems, or other restrictions
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use
Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
Upload malicious files or content intended to exploit the system

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Course content is generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies or errors. didacu does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should verify important information independently. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual Property

Our content: The didacu platform, branding, design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your content: You retain ownership of any materials you upload (documents, images). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for course generation.

Generated courses: Courses generated for you through the Service are yours to use for personal and educational purposes.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, didacu and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

Third-party AI services: didacu relies on third-party AI providers to generate course content. While these providers represent in their terms of service that they do not use API inputs and outputs to train their models, didacu cannot independently verify or guarantee these claims. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that your course data is processed by external AI systems whose data handling practices are ultimately beyond our control. didacu disclaims all liability for how third-party AI providers may process, store, or use the data sent to them.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
